Mount your site on a hep.gg subdomain or a custom domain, turn on site search, and read page analytics.

Domains and search

A published site is served on the host you mount it to, from the Domains tab.

Your hep.gg subdomain

Every site can use a Hep.gg subdomain (<name>.hep.gg). Claim your subdomain and mount the site to it from the Domains tab, and it is live.

Custom domains

Hep.gg Prime lets you mount your own custom domain. Add and verify the domain once from the Domains hub, then mount it to your site from the Domains tab. The wizard walks you through the DNS records.

On Hep.gg Prime you can turn on site search in the Search & Analytics tab. Visitors get fast full-text search across all of your published pages, right from the navbar.

Analytics

The Search & Analytics tab also shows page-view analytics for your site, so you can see which pages are read most. You can optionally enable unobtrusive ads on your site from the same tab.

Machine-readable index

Every published site automatically exposes a plain-text index of its pages for AI agents and crawlers, with each page available as raw Markdown. There is nothing to set up; it tracks your page tree as you edit.
